Rev. Jim Shaw II
Jim was born in Tuscaloosa, AL to a lab assistant at Druid City Hospital and a first-year student at the University’s school of law. After a short stint as an Airforce brat in Montgomery, Biloxi and Sacramento, his family settled back in their home town of Bessemer, AL.
In 1998 Jim married Brook Tenney, a northeast Ohio native (Hudson). In November 1999 came their first child, Grayson. Soon after, August 2001, brother John Calvin joined. In March 2005 daughter, Clara, was born.
Jim enjoys family, baseball, Alabama football, fishing, hunting and shooting, history, political theory and Christian ethics.
Some of his influences are John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, D. Martin Lloyd Jones, Al Baker, Louis Berkof, Henry Krabbendam, George Muller, Norman Geisler, Phillip Johnson, Dr. Jeff Lowman.
Jim graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Political Science, and Birmingham Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity.
